At times of historic change or great anxiety Cleveland Jews wrote letters to the editors of our Jewish newspapers. What did they say?

Letters to the editor could be regarded as as our oldest recorded social media. When did the editors of Cleveland's Anglo-Jewish newspapers of years ago start to publish the opinions of readers? What were the issues that readers of the past were concerned about, especially at times of historic change or great anxiety? Were there past elections where so many wrote to praise of denigrate candidates?

The collection is limited to letters published before 1950.

your name and email
publication name (JI, JRO, etc), date and page number
the subject (just a few words is enough)
the name of the author of the letter

A link to the story and a screen capture are welcome, but not required.
