 The Temple at University Circle Starts a New Dual Life

On March 19, 2010 it was announced that The Temple at University Circle, sacred space for members of The Temple - Tifereth Israel since 1924, a Cleveland treasure, and a National Historic Landmark, will start a new dual life as the Milton and Tamar Maltz Performing Arts Center of CWRU. The Temple will continue to use its Silver Sanctuary for High Holy Day worship and life cycle events.

Credit for this imaginative collaboration goes to Rabbi Richard Block of The Temple - Tifereth Israel and President Barbara Snyder of Case Western Reserve University. Once again, Milton and Tamar Maltz have earned the gratitude of the community for their vision and extraordinary generosity.
